Typhoon Bavi (the 9th typhoon this year) is approaching.Itmaybring extreme weather, including torrential rain, severe rainstorms and strong gales, causing wide-ranging impacts with high disaster risk after landfall.

We strongly urge all students on campus to take the following precautions to ensure your personal safety and the security of your dormitory:
Secure Doors and Windows
Please close and lock all doors and windows in your dormitory. Remove or securely fasten any items from balconies, window sills, or outdoor areas.
Stay Indoors and Avoid Unnecessary Travel
Stay inside your dormitory or other safe buildings during the typhoon.Avoid outdoor activities, especially near trees, billboards, construction sites, or water bodies.
Prepare Essential Supplies
Stock up on drinking water, non-perishable food, and any necessary medications in case of power outages or disruption of supplies. Ensure your mobile phone is fully charged and keep a backup power bank ready for emergency communication.
Observe electricity and fire safety
During severe thunderstorms, unplug non-essential electrical appliances such as computers, chargers and routers, and turn off idle main power switches. Do not place power strips and charging devices on balconies or by windows to avoid short circuits and electric shock accidents caused by rain immersion.
